delhi, I love you

Delhi, I Love You will come as the next chapter of the Cities of Love Series. It will feature 12 short stories about Love and Life in Delhi today.

The Cities of Love project began with the feature filmParis, je t’aime (Paris, I Love You). It opened as part of the ‘Un Certain Regard’ segment of the 2006 Cannes Film Festival and was shown in 65 countries upon its commercial release. The film was the first step in a global initiative to produce a collection of films that illustrate the universality of love within the framework of major international cities that have unique cultural identities.

The creation of New York, I Love You in 2010 was followed by Rio, Eu Te Amo (Rio, I Love You) in 2014. The innovative part of this third film was the creation of an eponymous Internet platform prior to the production of the film that attracted 1.5 million visitors. Today the website is still active and acts as a hub for cultural, social, and environmental initiatives in the city.

Beyond Delhi, agreements are in place for film projects in cities such as Shanghai, Berlin, Marseille, and London.
